Developed by performing arts educators and designed specifically for inclusive studios, our All Abilities Musical Theatre Syllabus gives teachers the tools, structure and confidence they need to deliver engaging musical theatre programs for students with diverse learning needs.
Whether you are working with students with Down Syndrome, autism or intellectual disabilities, or mixed-ability groups, this syllabus provides a clear framework that supports participation, creativity and performance success.
Melinda has been passionate about dance and performing arts since the age of two. She began working in dance studios as a student teacher during her pre-teenage years before going on to study Musical Theatre full-time in Melbourne.
After many years of teaching in studios, Melinda stepped away briefly while raising her family. It was during this time that her vision for creating something of her own began to grow. She later founded her own dance studio, driven by a deep belief in the power of performing arts to build confidence, connection, and joy.
Community has always been at the heart of Melinda’s work. She is passionate about bringing people together and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, valued, and able to express themselves.
As a mother of three children with additional needs, Melinda experienced first-hand the importance of inclusive opportunities within her community. This personal journey strengthened her commitment to creating environments where people of all abilities can participate, belong, and thrive.
Through All Abilities Theatre Co., Melinda is now bringing that passion into the theatre world - creating inclusive performing arts programs and supporting other studios to build welcoming, accessible spaces for every performer.
